Granite is one of the hardest materials we work with but it does make the most beautiful switch plates. We have spent years refining our process of making granite switch plates to ensure that we are your best source. We carve our switch plates from solid pieces of stone, epoxy only the backside, and polish the radiused edges to match the faces. Some companies crush the stone, mix it with resin, and then mold the switch plate, or if they are made from solid stone they dip them in epoxy or lacquer instead of polishing. As with all of the custom switch plates that we make, our granite switch plates are supplied with color coordinated screws, unless you upgraded for magnet mounting.
